With over 50 years in boarding,  your horse is my most important concern.  We feed Bermuda hay, unless health concerns dictate otherwise.  We purchase hay twice a year from Imperial Valley, California, which we store in our hay barn.  Upon delivery, a sample of the hay is sent to Equi-analytical Labs.  This hay is analysised at the lab for protien, carbohydrate, sugar and starch content. We want to insure your horse is getting exactly what he or she needs for their age and activity level.

 

From early Spring to late Fall we use Fly Predators from Spalding Labs.  This has been shown to be highly useful in reducing the amount of fly spray that is needed on your horse during the warmer months.  Pens are raked 365 days a year and the manure is removed from the property daily.

 

There are miles of trails for the avid trail rider right outside the gate.  To the east is BLM land, the the south,  the National Forest and the Pacific Crest Trail, to the west is the Mojave River, the mesa and Summit Valley, last (but not least), to the north is Starbucks, Restaurants, Stater Brothers, Lowes, Target, and Theaters to name a few.

 

We hold a variety of clinics here from Hunt Seat classes, Natural Horsemanship, Dental, Chiropratic to Massage therapy.  We also have pot lucks, saddle/tack cleaning get togethers and tack sales.  We are always bringing in something!   Education and having FUN is ongoing here!

 

Board rate is $240. per month, more amenities are available for a small fee.  We also offer pens for vacation boarders (those that want to leave town for a while), weekend and day use for guests.
