Stephanie Fling

Owner and Manager of the Horseshoe Inn

I have been in the horse industry for over 50 years boarding horses. My background is largely in the health care field having studied at Cal Poly, College of the Canyon, Loma Linda University, along with Dr. Deb Bennet, Phd., Nancy Loving DVM, and the Helen Woodard Center.  I have an AS degree in the medical field which has greatly broadened my knowledge of equine health care.  I specialize in the geriactic equine but have had all ages here from 5 births to 35 years of age.  I have worked for Veterinarians, with Veterinarians and also assisted in surgeries.

I was the Stable Manager at the United States Marine Corps Logistics Base Stable for 10 years.  There I was in charge of and completely responsible for anywhere between 30-40 head of horses at any given time.  Those numbers included a rental string, private boarders as well as the USMC Mounted Color Guard horses.

I  believe it takes a good support group to care for a horse, (caretaker, Veterinarian, Farrier, Equine Dentist, Owner, Rider) and the list could go on and on.  Any horse that is boarded at the Horseshoe Inn is my primary concern.  It is my responsiblity to keep your horse safe, healthy and happy so that you can have fun and enjoy your horse to the fullest.
